International Foundation Programme

Registrations are now open for our International Foundation Programme, this is a year long academic English course suitable for students aged 6 – 12 years old. If you are moving to the island and looking for a school but your child requires additional English language support before joining a mainstream school please get in touch with us as this might be the best option for you! The International Foundation programme has been running successfully for three years, we offer a school-based environment, direct instruction in English and caring teachers. Students study within a small group of International Students from different nationalities, who all wish to improve their English before joining mainstream education in Malta. The programme offers Intensive English tuition, with content based instruction – lessons are communicative in nature and we aim to encourage all students to speak the language by providing up to date, motivating materials and lots of time in class for speaking, reading, listening and writing. In addition assessments are made mid-yearly to ensure students remain on track for success.

All tuition takes place at our centre which is part of St Catherine’s High School in Pembroke.
